Introducing our Health and Wellness Partner Page!

Wisconsin Well Woman Program (WWWP)

IP Ministries is excited to launch our new Health & Wellness page! A space dedicated to the powerful partnerships we are building across Wisconsin, throughout the country, and even around the world.

Through our Health Equity Program, the Memory Collectors Storytelling Project: Fighting Alzheimer’s with Art, we’ve recognized the importance of not only elevating awareness around Alzheimer’s and other related dementias (ADRD), but also shining a light on the many health concerns that impact women in communities of color at disproportionate rates.

This quarter, our Spotlight Partner is the Wisconsin Well Woman Program (WWWP), Wisconsin’s arm of the CDC’s National Breast and Cervical Cancer Early Detection Program. Since 1994, WWWP has provided life-saving services to more than 85,000 women across the state. Their mission is simple but powerful: to reduce illness and death from breast and cervical cancers by providing breast and cervical cancer screening services to low-income, uninsured women. In addition, the program also addresses heart disease, stroke prevention, and provides multiple sclerosis assessments.

One of WWWP’s current initiatives is the Well Badger Resource Center, a partnership with the Wisconsin’s Women's Health Foundation, an information hub where Wisconsin residents can connect directly with health and social service resources, get questions answered, and find guidance on their personal health and wellness journey.
